About This Event / イベントについて
Halloween in Dotonbori has grown into one of Japan's biggest unofficial costume gatherings. Thousands of locals and visitors dress up — from quick kigurumi onesies to elaborate anime cosplay — and parade along the canal beneath the district's famous neon, especially around Ebisu Bridge and the Glico sign.
It's a self-organized street gathering rather than a managed festival, but the energy is enormous. Photographers line the railings, and Osaka's famously outgoing crowd makes it one of the most welcoming Halloween scenes in Japan. Go in costume — you'll fit right in.
