About This Event / イベントについて
acosta! Dotonbori Cosplay Festival returns to the canal on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October 2026, 10:30 to 18:30. Photography ends one hour before close. This is a ticketed street event. Cosplayers, photographers, and general visitors all buy a pass. It is not a free sidewalk show.
Changing rooms for costume tickets are at Chuo Sports Center, 2-12-31 Shimanouchi, Chuo-ku. Camera and general check-in is a riverside booth. Early (10:30) advance is ¥2,880, door ¥3,400. Standard (12:00) advance is ¥2,580, door ¥3,100. Junior high and high school, with student ID, ¥1,180 advance / ¥1,500 door. Elementary, with a paying adult, ¥500. Under elementary is free. Luggage storage is only for costume tickets with a changing room.
Tombori River Cruise from Tazaemonbashi runs about 20 minutes, 11:00 then every 30 minutes, adults ¥2,000. GiGO Osaka Dotonbori Honten allows phone snapshots in costume, not lighting kits. Official photographer staff wear logo vests. Tickets went on sale 10 August via staca.
