About This Event / イベントについて
acosta! is Japan's largest organized cosplay street event, held along the Dotonbori canal twice a year (May and February). Unlike the unofficial Halloween gathering, it is a ticketed, managed event — cosplayers register in advance, and the riverside fills with photographers, performers, and character meet-ups beneath the neon signs.
A Tombori River Cruise runs during the festival (¥2,000 adults), and a GiGO collaboration offers interactive content via smartphone. General visitors can walk the area freely; only participating cosplayers need tickets.
