About Hozenji Yokocho

Hozenji Yokocho is the pair of stone alleys on the north side of Hozenji. About 80 m long and under 3 m wide, they hold roughly 60 kappo, kushikatsu, okonomiyaki, and sushi rooms. Oda Sakunosuke's Meoto Zenzai is set here. Locals still eat after work. Tourists find it after the Glico photo. The temple is Jodo-shu Tenryuzan Hozenji at 1-2-16 Nanba. Grounds, Mizukake Fudo, Konpira Tenno, and Ohatsu Daishin stay open 24 hours. Goshuin desk 10:00-18:00. Phone 06-6211-4152. Official site houzenji.jp. The Fudo is an attraction on the same plot. This row is the alley. Do not type it as a mall.
