About This Event / イベントについて
Over Golden Week (May 2–5), the Dotonbori canal-side promenade hosts a multi-day spring street festival. Student bands, dance teams, and karaoke acts perform on a floating canal-boat stage, while food booths line the Tombori River Walk between Ebisu Bridge and Daikoku Bridge.
The festival bundles two concurrent events: acosta! @ Dotonbori Cosplay Festival (May 2–3, ticketed) and Nishi-Dotonbori UP (May 4–5), a DJ and live-music program. Entry to the main festival is free; only the cosplay festival requires a ticket.
