Sukiyaki and nabe hotpot specialist near Hozenji serving A3-A4 wagyu.
Yawaraka Hozenji is a sukiyaki and nabe hotpot restaurant that has been a fixture of the Hozenji neighbourhood for over 19 years. The kitchen uses carefully selected A3 and A4-grade wagyu, keeping prices remarkably reasonable for the quality on offer. Diners can choose from sukiyaki, a signature motsu nabe built on a rich chicken-bone broth seasoned with Kanro soy sauce, and handmade yuzu pepper that uses double the usual citrus. The restaurant also serves wagyu yukhoe and tataki, alongside a full menu of one-plate dishes. Banquet plans cater to groups, and the 86-seat space - designed to evoke a traditional kominka earthen floor - provides separate booth-style areas for a private dining feel. English, Korean and Chinese language support is available for international visitors. Situated just two minutes from Namba Station and one minute from Dotonbori, Yawaraka Hozenji is perfectly placed for tourists and locals alike. Its combination of generous wagyu portions, friendly prices and atmospheric old-Osaka setting makes it a go-to for nabe gatherings in the heart of Minami.Operating hours not available

Reasonably priced sukiyaki. Totally meets its value, no waiting and not too much tourists. Nice place to experience an ordinary Japanese sukiyaki. It will make a great way to wrap up your day with a warm dinner, even better with sake!
