Teppan Bistro GT is a teppanyaki restaurant in Shinsaibashi, five minutes from Namba Station, offering high-quality teppan cooking at accessible prices. The kitchen uses only domestic Japanese beef, with the A5-grade black wagyu fillet steak as its flagship dish alongside a 100-percent-wagyu hamburger offered at a deliberately low price point. The menu extends beyond steak to include okonomiyaki, yam cheese grills and other teppan dishes, with a drinks list featuring cassis liqueur from Dijon's Briottet house and barrel wine on tap. The restaurant has been featured on MBS television's Seyanen programme and in Kendou Kobayashi's book of irresistible restaurants. Mainly saw locals there but they also seemed to be friends of the owner. The place was just behind our hotel Cross Hotel Osaka. Yaki soba was so nice. Diced black wagyu was amazing especially with the garlic crisps. Okonomiyaki was just OK. They serve highball and asahi on tap. Chefs were a bit grumpy looking but they are nice.
