Mitsutera, formally known as Shippozan Daifuku-in Mitsutera, is an ancient Shingon Buddhist temple nestled within the vibrant Shinsaibashi district of Osaka. Founded in 744 by the monk Gyoki at the request of Emperor Shomu, the temple enshrines an Eleven-Headed Kannon (Juichimen Kannon) in its main hall.
