Novel Shinsaibashi is a wedding and events venue that opened in 2019 on the upper floors of the A-Place Shinsaibashi building, a short walk from Shinsaibashi and Namba stations. Operated by DD Holdings, a group with some 500 restaurants across Japan, the venue is built around the theme of music as a universal language, hosting up to two weddings per day on a private-hire basis so each couple has the space entirely to themselves. The 13th-floor banquet room Grab offers sweeping views over the city, while the 14th floor is home to To Begin With, a champagne and wine lounge bar where guests can enjoy curated vintages, cigars and light dining in a relaxed, luxurious setting. The venue also serves as a party and conference space, with flexible rooms for banquets, corporate events and gatherings of up to 150 standing guests, complete with projectors, DJ equipment and private booths. It is worth noting that Novel Shinsaibashi has announced it will close on 28 February 2026, so anyone hoping to experience the space should plan accordingly.
