The signature is the Bairan yakisoba, a bowl of noodles pan-fried crisp on both sides and folded around a hot, savoury sauce, available in plain, spicy beef and luxurious seafood versions. The wider menu takes in shark fin, chilli prawns, mapo tofu, dim sum and a strong selection of fried rice and noodles, with multi-course party menus ranging from casual to premium. Round-table private rooms seat groups of five to 24, and buyouts are possible for larger parties, with English, Korean and Chinese menus available. For hearty, comforting Chinese cooking in the middle of Namba City's shopping maze, Bairan is a dependable and characterful choice. Its famous yakisoba alone is worth the detour from the arcade.
