About This Event / イベントについて
The Osaka Castle Autumn Festival fills the castle's Honmaru Square with history come to life. The Osaka Castle Teppou-tai performs 火縄銃演武 (matchlock gun demonstrations), while samurai performance groups stage martial displays, and food trucks line the grounds.
The 2025 theme celebrated the allied castles and cities of Hideyoshi and Hidetsugu (「豊臣派！」). Entry to the festival square is free; the castle keep requires a separate ¥1,200 ticket. It's a short subway ride from Dotonbori and pairs well with the autumn foliage in the surrounding park.
